At Made In Oldstead, we take our food boxes very seriously. We’ve taken everything we’ve learnt from our award-winning kitchens, to transform ingredients from our farm into luxury food box menus so you can taste the flavours of Tommy Banks’ cooking in the comfort of your own home.
This luxury food box for two celebrates one of our favourite ingredients – beef!
To start, roasted Hen of the Woods mushrooms with shallot compote, followed by beef short rib and glazed beetroots, finished with a chocolate fondant tart with plum gel.
This food box contains:
STARTER
Mushroom, Yeast, Shallot
Pan fried Hen of the Woods mushroom on a shallot compote, topped with a yeast beurre blanc split with chive oil.

MAIN
Beetroot, Beef, Hazelnut
Beef short rib served with glazed beetroot, roasted hazelnuts and radicchio, finished with a chicken stock.

DESSERT
Chocolate, Hay, Plum
Chocolate fondant tart topped with a smoked plum gel and hay cream, dusted with plum sherbet.

This three-course food box is designed to serve two people. It will be delivered to the comfort of your home by our third-party courier. Whilst we schedule your food box delivery for your chosen date, unexpected delays may occur beyond our control. Specialist packaging is designed to keep your food chilled during this transit time-period.
Need your order for a dinner party or special occasion? We advise to always allow an extra 24 hours and select your delivery date for the day prior to the event. Please contact enquiries@madeinoldstead.co.uk if you require further advice.
Please refrigerate your delivery as soon as possible and enjoy within 3 days of receipt (unless stated otherwise).
Food box orders may be packaged and sent in more than one delivery. Therefore, your orders may arrive separately. Food box sales are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable.
