Inspired by the Metropolitan cocktail traditionally made with brandy and vermouth, this twist on the classic showcases our stunning larder of preserved ingredients.
Foraged in September 2020, damsons and hogweed provide the quintessential Autumnal flavour profile of this cocktail; warm and soothing with delicate nuances of spice. Our six-month matured damson brandy is complimented by our own bitter herb liqueur and hand-crafted hogweed tincture which lend an aromatic seasoning reminiscent of cardamom and orange.
To finish this cocktail, we’ve used our own blended sweet vermouth, bringing a subtle sweetness to balance the tart and zingy acidity while celebrating our abundance of restaurant garden botanicals, from woodruff and wormwood to fennel and rosemary.
