To celebrate the start of a new season here in Oldstead, aptly named The Hunger Gap by Tommy, our Signature Dinner Party menu has had a seasonal refresh.
A seven-course menu with wine, taking you on a journey of the flavours of Oldstead during our Hunger Gap – including our famous salt-aged beef wellington.
Canapé
Celeriac & Truffle Croustade
Croustade filled with celeriac & truffle and topped with chive emulsion.

Haxby sourdough bread with a cultured butter topped with wild garlic salt, chicken fat & cep butter, chicken liver parfait, Yorkshire coppa, Oldstead salami and Oldstead preserves.

Scallop, Mussel, Pickled Apple
Pan-fried scallops served with a mussel broth and topped with dill pickled apple and a fermented pepper powder.
Paired with Banks Brothers Pineau d’Aunis Rose No.13

Beef, Leek, Hen of the Woods
Prime salt-aged beef wellington served with roasted Hen of the Woods mushrooms, red wine jus, and leek top emulsion.
Paired with Banks Brothers Syrah Mouverdre No.1.1

This food box is designed to serve four people. It will be delivered to the comfort of your home by our third-party courier. Whilst we schedule your delivery for your chosen date, unexpected delays may occur beyond our control. Specialist packaging is designed to keep your food chilled during this transit time-period.
