The second instalment of our Chef Series brings together Tommy Banks and Michelin-starred chef Lisa Goodwin-Allen for an exclusive collaboration celebrating exceptional British ingredients and refined, produce-led cooking. Having worked together on numerous culinary events over the years, this menu reflects Tommy and Lisa’s shared passion for seasonality and craftsmanship.

The three-course experience opens with pan-roasted West Coast scallops, paired with pomegranate, bhaji crumb and fragrant curry sauce. For the main course, Cumbrian lamb rack and sticky lamb belly are served alongside slow-cooked carrots, sheep’s curd purée and a rich lamb sauce. To finish, a delicate strawberry and cream pot is complemented by macerated strawberries, a strawberry dressing and a Kendal Mint Cake granita for a fresh and vibrant finale.

ABOUT LISA GOODWIN-ALLEN

Lisa Goodwin‑Allen is one of the most respected chefs in British hospitality and is Chef Patron‑Director of Michelin‑starred Northcote. She has led the kitchen brigade at one Michelin‑starred Northcote since the age of 23, playing a defining role in the restaurant’s success for more than two decades. In 2025, her role formally evolved to Chef Patron‑Director, reflecting her long‑standing leadership of the kitchen and her involvement in shaping the future direction of the business.

Alongside her role at Northcote, Lisa also works as Culinary Director at The Beaumont Mayfair, where she launched the modern British restaurant Rosi in October 2025.
