At Made In Oldstead, we take our meal delivery service very seriously. We’ve taken everything we’ve learnt from our award-winning kitchens, to transform ingredients from our farm into luxury food box menus so you can taste the flavours of Tommy Banks’ cooking in the comfort of your own home.

Our popular Valentine’s Menu has become our customer’s favourite way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, a romantic meal in the comfort of your own home.

To Start

Celeriac & Truffle Croustade

To begin, a croustade filled with celeriac and truffle tartare, topped with chive emulsion and finished with cured egg yolk.

Bread Course

 Sourdough, Mushroom, Tomato

Haxby sourdough bread served with mushroom and truffle parfait topped with hedgerow jelly, whipped herb butter, pickled green tomatoes and shredded cornichons.

Fish Course

Halibut, Cauliflower, Apple

Pan-fried halibut served with beurre noisette, smoked butter velouté, Oldstead apple verjus, caramelised cauliflower puree and pickled apple.

Paired with Banks Brothers Muscadet No. 12

Main Course

Monkfish, Leek, Mushroom

Monkfish wellington served with black garlic puree, leek top emulsion, and fondant potato, finished with mushroom jus split with lovage oil.

Banks Brothers Wine Pairing: Syrah Mourvèdre No. 1.1

Palate Cleanser

Bramley apple juice with lemon verbena oil.

Dessert

Chocolate, Raspberry, Hazelnut

Chocolate tart served with raspberry gel, whipped mascarpone, hazelnut tuile, finished with raspberry sherbet.

This menu is designed to serve two people. It will be delivered to the comfort of your home by our third-party courier. Whilst we schedule your delivery for your chosen date, unexpected delays may occur beyond our control. Specialist packaging is designed to keep your food chilled during this transit time-period.

Need your order for a dinner party or special occasion? We advise to always allow an extra 24 hours and select your delivery date for the day prior to the event. Please contact enquiries@madeinoldstead.co.uk if you require further advice.

Please refrigerate your delivery as soon as possible and enjoy within 3 days of receipt (unless stated otherwise).

Food box orders may be packaged and sent in more than one delivery. Therefore, your orders may arrive separately. Food box sales are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable.
