A pescatarian menu guaranteed to start 2024 with a bang! Enjoy our four-course monkfish wellington menu alongside paired wine from Banks Brothers Drinks.
Bread Course
Sourdough, Mushroom, Cornichon
To begin celebrations; a whole loaf of Haxby sourdough served with a creamy mushroom parfait topped with pickled shallots, crispy onions and cornichons.
Intermediate Course
Scallop, Mushroom, Turnip
Pan seared scallop topped with pickled turnip discs, served with a mushroom consommé split with herb oil.
Paired with Banks Brothers Pineau d’Aunis Rose No. 13
Main Course
Monkfish, Jerusalem Artichoke, Douglas Fir
For the main course, a monkfish wellington wrapped in buttery puff pastry served alongside a Jerusalem artichoke puree and pickled Jerusalem artichoke. Finished with a mushroom jus split with Douglas fir oil.
Paired with Banks Brothers Syrah Mourvèdre No. 1.1
Dessert
Salted Caramel, White Chocolate, Raspberry
To conclude celebrations, our salted caramel cremeux served with raspberry gel and caramelised white chocolate, and finished with freeze dried raspberries.
Paired with Banks Brothers Late Harvest Chenin Blanc No. 15

This four-course menu is designed to serve two people. It will be delivered to the comfort of your home by our third-party courier on Friday 29th December. Whilst we schedule your delivery for your chosen date, unexpected delays may occur beyond our control. Specialist packaging is designed to keep your food chilled during this transit time-period.
Please refrigerate your delivery as soon as possible and enjoy within 3 days of receipt (unless stated otherwise).
Food box orders may be packaged and sent in more than one delivery. Therefore, your orders may arrive separately. Food box sales are final, non-transferable, and non-refundable.
