A Christmas Day vegetarian feast to remember, including our Oldstead potato and mushroom wellington and delicious festive accompaniments. Accompanied by paired wine from Banks Brothers Drinks.
Amuse Bouche
Butternut Squash, Hazelnut, Parsley
To begin the festive feasting; an amuse bouche of butternut squash soup served with a seed vinaigrette, toasted hazelnuts and Oldstead parsley oil.
Starter
St Sunday, Mushroom, Shallot, Cornichons
A sharing starter celebrating all our festive favourites. Graze on Haxby sourdough bread alongside a whole baked St Sunday farmhouse cheese, and a creamy mushroom parfait topped with pickled shallots, crispy onions and cornichons.

Main
Oldstead Potato & Mushroom Wellington
For the main course; our Oldstead wellington layered with potato and Hen of the Woods mushrooms, and wrapped in a buttery puff pastry. Accompanied by heritage carrots, braised red cabbage and polenta roast potatoes, alongside chestnut sprouts, horseradish crème fraiche and Yorkshire puddings. Finished with a generous serving of mushroom jus.

Dessert
Chocolate, Hay, Damson
The ultimate conclusion to your Christmas Day menu; melt-in-the- middle chocolate fondant tarts served with toasted hay cream and a seasonal damson gel.
