The ultimate four-course Christmas Day feast in true Oldstead style, including Tommy’s famous salt-aged beef wellington for the show-stopping centrepiece. Accompanied by paired wine from Banks Brothers Drinks.
Amuse Bouche
Butternut Squash, Hazelnut, Parsley
To begin the festive feasting; an amuse bouche of butternut squash soup served with a sunflower seed vinaigrette, toasted hazelnuts and Oldstead parsley oil.
Starter
Oldstead Grazing Board
An Oldstead twist on a classic Swedish ‘smorgasbord’. Graze on Haxby sourdough bread alongside our favourite preserved accompaniments of pickled carrots, fennel, and cucumber. Served with beetroot cured salmon, hot smoked salmon pots and whipped cream cheese.

Tommy’s Salt-Aged Beef Wellington
Tommy’s showstopping centrepiece and a staple in our festive repertoire; salt-aged beef wellington wrapped in mushroom duxelles and buttery puff pastry, served alongside pigs in blankets, heritage carrots and braised red cabbage. Accompanied by bacon and chestnut sprouts, duck fat roasties and horseradish crème fraiche, and finished with a rich veal jus.

Chocolate, Hay, Damson
The ultimate decadent conclusion to your Christmas Day menu; melt-in-the-middle middle chocolate fondant tarts served with toasted hay cream and a seasonal damson gel.
